A group of academicians, research scholars, technocrats, social workers, policy makers committed to the cause of social development and environment protection came together in 2002 to form ISARD, a not-for-profit organization. As development cannot be achieved in isolation and be periodic the basic objective of ISRAD is aimed at bringing about positive changes in the social structure which upholds human dignity, sustainable progress, and protection of environment and ecology. Notable feature of ISARD is amalgamation of expertise and experience for coming up with innovative solutions for challenges in the sectors of poverty alleviation ,education, skill development, health care, and environment . For ISARD path for progress has to be inclusive, unbiased, gender-equal with a special focus on maintaining ecological balance.
