 ISARD is actively involved in the themes of global warming, climate change, mitigation and adaptation, disaster vulnerability and risk reduction and climate resilience.

ISARD is working to ensure that the people has timely, affordable, and available healthcare services in the community.
 

ISARD is working to improve hygiene and sanitation through innovative strategies such as raising awareness among slum dwellers and treating water with a low-cost method (SODIS).

While scientific evidence suggests that as nations and societies develop, their ability to deal with environmental issues improves, ISARD believes that rapidly growing economies should be proactive in dealing with environmental risks and impacts.

ISARD is working to improve basic education in the city by creating community education center. This program's approach includes educational drives, surveys and research, counselling, and the establishment of Remedial Education Centers.

Under this program ISARD is actively involved in advocacy, research studies, technical consultancy, plan preparation, training and dissemination of information among professionals, industry, experts and other stakeholders.
